GHIS & LLL

Since 2019, Language, Literacy, and Life has helped meet some of GHIS's infrastructure needs. There are now more than 1,500+ students attending and the new COVID space requirements have caused stresses and strains.

In 2021, GHIS successfully enlarged classrooms and passed the government inspections for being COVID safe. Classes resumed, however GHIS had to close the lunch program due to COVID. Dzokotoes looked at the space used for the dining room and imagined classrooms. We thank God and GHIS donors that the funds were available by the end the year to make three more classrooms.

In April of 2022 construction materials are once again being acquired, this time to add a second floor to the new classroom building. Currently we have funds to complete four classrooms.

Within the walls of GHIS, learning is taking place! For the fifth year in a row, the ninth grade students were tops in the North West Region. They had the highest scores on the Ghanaian national exams! We are so proud of the staff and students and all their hard work. Because of their scores, GHIS graduates may attend the best high schools in Ghana.
